How to require field be filled BEFORE continuing.

    I have a couple checkbox fields in the Shipping section that I have marked for required, but it allows the user to click the continue button to the payment even if they aren’t checked. And only once the user submits payment does it alert them to go back and check those fields. I notice with the standard shipping and billing fields, the required fields have to be entered before continuing. The fields created by your plugin don’t, however.

    Is there any fix for this? Or is this something only the premium plugin provides?

    I need to clarify that the fields are in the Additional Fields section. I notice that when I add a field to the Shipping or Billing fields, and mark it required, it won’t allow the user to continue unless those are marked. But in the Additional Fields, it allows the user to click continue and enter their CC info before triggering an alert. Is there a workaround for this, or is this just how WordPress works?

    Please note that the validation will trigger only when you click on the place order button.
