How to reposition primary menu, title text on slider images & full-width footer?

  • First of all, I am definitely using .ORG and a Child Theme. I unfortunately cannot provide a web link but have attached pictures below.

    I would like to find out if it is possible to:

    1) Shift the primary menu up, to align it with the header image.

    I did manage to do this by using:

    #menu-primary {
    top: -30px;
    left: 300px;
    }

    However, the mobile version of the site would then move the primary menu waay off the screen in mobile view, so this was not suitable.

    2) I also wish to re-position the title text of the slider (featured images) to the top-right hand corner and into a box. If this is not possible, whether there are any very good, free sliders that will do the same? I am yet to find one.

    3) How to make the footer appear full-width.

    I’ve attached pictures of what my website looks like currently and how I wish for it to look:

    Website with proposed changes

    Thank you for any help, it would be really appreciated!
