  • 1. First upload the logo image in images folder of your theme.
    2. Open style.css in your theme and search for “#logo #h1 a {” tag. Once found add a new attribute background:url(“server path of logo”).
    3. Lastly remove the current heading and tagline from your theme option.

    Thank you so much!Do I need to follow these steps and then re upload the theme and activate it? or can you tell me how to find the image folder of the theme when it is already activated on wordpress?

    Thank u for ur reply!! Do you create an FTP account by entering into hosting control panel? If not, create one hurry because it will help you in future to do several theme, plugin editing jobs. Once created use Filezilla software to communicate with the server. Now browse the path http://www.yoursitename.com/wp-content/themes/images to find out the image folder. Upload the logo image in this folder. The activate does not matter here.

    let me know your progress.
