How to Replace Native Image Handler w/ Simple Modal Image HandlerEn

    Clicking an image in this release (v4.7.1 and v4.7.2) results in the display of the full-size image against a full-screen opaque black background. How can I replace this functionality with a simple enlarged image displayed modally…?

    Theme: DIY Thesis 2.2.4.

    I have installed several lightbox plugins and one calling itself “modal” all with the same result. Do I have to alter code to do this…?

    Help anyone…!

    Back in the good ‘ol days of v2.0 and v3.0, there was a plugin called Thumbnail Viewer. Neat. Just what I wanted, but no longer listed on WP Plugins–Recommended or otherwise. By Dynamic Drive. Wonder if still available. I should query them (Tyler Lundgren) I suppose…
