How to replace graphic element in 2013 home page

  • Ref: http://www.yesterdayscountry.org

This is a new site using theme 2013. I tried to replace the header graphic with my own design, but it only allows me to use the default or what I previously loaded. I want to now change my first grahic element. I am reluctant to edit the theme or modify it. There should be an easy way to customise this theme. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey. Is it the orange circle.png image in the header that you wish to replace? If so, you should be able to do this via the dashboard area, go to the Appearance->Header page. Do you not see an option to upload an image from your computer on this page?
