How to Fully Remove/Delete Unused Custom Fields? | WordPress.org

Looking at the wp_postmeta table in MySQL, I see a ton of rows containing references to custom fields I deleted and do not want. This’ll only rack up over time and this makes it difficult to export clean, quality data for my custom post types.

Do you have any advices or suggest any addons?

need an answer for this also.. I’m trying to import data, and I cant even map the csv to fields because this plugin has OLD fields still in db, and I have no clue at this point which are “really” still active and the fact that some of them use “field and numbers” makes it even worse!
