    Thanks for developing this great themes.

    Please I’d like to disable the URL field on comment form. I want only name and email.

    Thanks

    Thanks for using Mission News!

    Please add this plugin to your site to remove the URL field from the comments: https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-comment-websiteurl-box/

    I downloaded the plugin, install and activate. But the website URL field still shows up.

    Probably the Plugin is outdated or so, any other recommendation?

    Okay thank you for trying that.

    Please try adding this CSS to your site instead to hide the URL field:

    .comment-form-url {
      display: none;
    }

    You can copy & paste the code above into the “Additional CSS” section in the Customizer (Appearance > Customize), and it will take effect right away.

    Thank you so much. This works just fine.

    One more help, please.

    On the homepage, how do I display only post title without show the excerpts?

    I tried changing the Excerpts to 0 or nothing from > Customizing >excerpts. but it only removes the excerpt and added a (…).

    This depends partially on the layout you choose – some of the “Post Preview” layouts do not include excerpts.

    If you’re using a layout that includes excerpts, you can add this CSS to hide them:

    .blog .post-content,
    .archive .post-content {
      display: none;
    }
