  • I am in the process of building a website and I am using twenty eleven. Everything was going great. I added a slider on my front page a few days ago and was happy that the website was slowly coming along.

    mikehendricksonguiding.com

Tonight I added a new page and I clicked media and uploaded a PDF file for that page. I decided I wanted to create a form so I search plugins and found a plugin to create a form. I played around with it and hit apply to create a form. I could not find the form anywhere on my website but I saw this message instead on my front page. I decided right away to delete the form plugin but that did not get rid of the issue with the “emabarassing….” on my front page.

I cannot add posts to my site and when I do add posts they go to my guiding page but not to my front page. I did had a message on my front page “website under construction” but it does not show anymore so I deleted that post.

I am at my wit end! I tried reinstalling wordpress but again that did not help.

This sucks and I need help so badly!

  • Did you get any responses. Have the same problem.

@linmchugh: you probably want to open a new thread for your question rather than tag onto an 8 month old one.

That said… that message is really a 404 error – ie., the URL/Page whatever is not found. There are 100s of reasons for this, so explain your particular situation… and maybe someone can help you.

Perhaps do that as a new post…
