    Hi,

    I use the twenty seventeen theme. I want to remove the “Skip to content” link on my home page. I succeeded in doing so by deleting the line <?php _e( ‘Skip to content’, ‘twenty-seventeen’ ); ?> in my child theme. So far so good.

    However, the white arrow svg icon is still being showed on my home page. 🙁

    Question: How and can I delete that HTML-code in my child theme?

    Best regards,

    Marco

    Can I ask why you want to remove this? The pragmatics of how to do this should be posted in your theme’s support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentyseventeen/#new-post

    Hi Andrew,

    I want to remove it because I will not be writing long pages of text. Also it doesn’t show on on a tablet or a mobile Phone. Ihe white Arrow shows up on a screen.

    How and can I delete the HTML-code in my child theme?

    Should I open a new post in the twenty seventeen support forum?

    I’ve finally found the solution 🙂

    I added the following code in Custom CSS:

    a.menu-scroll-down {
    display: none!important;
    }
