I have an image that i have added an external link to, though now it has added a "external link" icon (symbol) underneath the image. Is it possible to remove that little icon?

I found http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-external-links/ though it didnt work. So i assume it may be something embedded into the theme, or a wordpress setting i have been unsuccessful at finding.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I have 10 cups. Each requires filling. Please tell me how much I need to fill them all to 3/4 full. I need the answer in quarts, please.
