    I’d like to remove the “Published by” author and date from posts throughout the site.

    Is there is Custom CSS code that will remove or hide this information?

    None of the Code suggestions on WordPress.org or the free widgets that claim to do this seem to work with your theme.

    Thanks for using Author!

    An edit like this will change based on the theme. For Author, you can hide the author and date from the Posts with the following CSS:

    .post-meta {
      display: none;
    }

    You can copy and paste that code into the “Custom CSS” section in the Customizer (Appearance > Customize). Once added there, it should take affect right away.

    Awesome! That worked perfectly.

    Thanks for the lightning fast response and the wonderful theme! Much appreciated

    You’re welcome 🙂

    If you’re happy with Author, could you take a minute to leave a review?

    Thanks!

    The code above will only hide the post author and the date it was published, so the categories and other meta info will still show.

    If you want to hide the comments in addition to hiding the author and date, you can add the following just below the previous snippet:

    .comments {
      display: none;
    }
