I need to remove search, categories, subscribe, calendar on the left sidebar. I tried adding a blank text widget without padding to the sidebar and it did not change anything.

    Hello!

I have installed the Swift Basic to my testing WordPress install. There I can choose what widgets are showing up on the right side on WordPress Admin under Appearance->Widgets. On the right side, make sure to open the non-sticky sidebar part, screenshot here: Screenshot

If you have any additional questions, I am here to help.

    Greetings,
    Balint

    Hi,

Opened non-sticky sidebar, double checked all the widgets I have in there. These new widgets that are showing up since I installed the theme's update are not showing here. So I cannot figure out how to get them to go away. Thank you for your help.

In that case, I dont have any other tips... It is illogical, but maybe you could check the other widget areas as well. Maybe there is something that went wrong on the update...

I am sorry that I could not provide any useful help for you.

    Greetings,
    Balint
