Hi @askmeoffers
I’ve taken a look into the GTMetrix test you’ve attached, and I can see that resource there. Is there any particular reason you want to remove this? I can see that the size of it is only 7KB which shouldn’t affect your website’s speed, that I can that is already amazing!
It’s possible that this can’t be disabled, especially if you aren’t even using the Sharing Feature; however, I wasn’t able to confirm if you were since I found that the Jetpack connection to your site is currently broken.
I’d suggest going ahead and reinstalling Jetpack, so the connection is fixed; you can follow the steps below:
https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/
Do let us know how this goes.
Best,
Hi, Thank You for your quick revert!
Yes, have to spend a lot of time optimizing the pages for our site so that’s the reason we want to avoid any resource even 1KB which is being added to every page for no reason.
We have blocked xmlrpc due to which it shows jetpack is not connected but jetpack is very much connected to our site and we have only activated three modules on jetpack :
1)Image CDN
2) Monitor
3) Protect
We have not activated any social sharing modules.
and these are the only modules we are using since years from jetpack
but with recent jetpack updates only ( not sure which version ) this extra “social-logos.eot” is being loading on our pages .
We want to remove it as performance matters a lot on which we have spent lot of time .

I humbly request you to please remove this loading unless module is active
Thank You

Hi there –
In order for the modules you have activated with Jetpack to work properly, Jetpack needs to be connected. In this case, I would advise that rather than block access to the xmlrpc.php
file outright, that you add Jetpack’s IP addresses to your list of allowed IPs.
You can get a list of those addresses here:
https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/
Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time. For that reason, we recommend your host uses the machine-readable versions of these IP ranges in JSON or plain text format to automate configuration changes on their systems.
Once we have a working connection, we can look into the issue with the .eot file loading despite the module not being activated.
Hi Team,
Thank you for your continuous support!
Due to a security issue, we cannot enable xmlrpc on the live server
But I have done a fresh install where jetpack is fully connected

On this setup also we have only enabled the Image CDN module of jetpack but it loads “social-logos.eot” on all pages
Hi there
In testing, I could only reproduce this when viewing the AMP version of the page. It looks like you have your site set to always display the AMP version.
I’ll ask our developers to advise on why that file is loaded on AMP pages and report back.
Hi again.
I have now opened a bug report for this, which you can follow for updates here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/22366
Thanks!
