boy, a link would be useful to see what you’re talking about.

At a guess, sounds like you want to edit your theme’s sidebar to remove the conditional statement(s).

Oops, sorry about that, here’s a link —
    http://wendyandnelson.com/ourhoneymoon/?cat=1

On the very top of the page is says ‘Posts filed under ‘Day 1” Is there anyway to remove that from every page?

Also, how do I bold the subtitles on the page? In this case, how do I bold ‘Bula!!!’

    thanks! 🙂

    bump?

    1. Archives (be it by category or monthly) are displayed by the archive.php template file.
    See http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy
Edit that file to remove whatever you don’t like there.
    2. The titles on the category archives view are logical in the original theme:
    h1 – blog title
    h2 – whole page title (=category name)
    h3 – post title
[I know you compare it to your index page where not having a h2 page title > the post title will be in between h2 tags.
