    I use the sliding door theme. I've tried everything to remove the tags from the posts on my website. See example on this page of my site here: http://kahnart.com/?category_name=swimsuits
    I cannot find php the_tags in any of my files. I have tried all the suggestions. Inputting code, removing code. I have even disabled my site and had to reload wordpress (I am not an expert but learning). I have been able to easily remove tags from showing up on my other sites but this template is giving me trouble!!!

    Any help would be sooooooo greatly appreciated.

    First, you should create a Child theme. If you do not your changes will be lost if you update the theme.

    The 'quick and dirty' way is to hide the display of the tags by adding this to the end of style.css:

    span.tag-links { display: none; }

    Thanks for the quick reply. I tried that and it did not work, maybe I am not pasting it in the correct place? I pasted it at the very end of the style.css file. I have also tried inserting { display: none; } after everywhere I could find any mention of tags in my php and css files. Nothing is working :(

    I do not see that code at the END of wp-content/themes/sliding-door/style.css.

    Please paste it there and leave it so I can see.

    I see the code now, but the links that I think you were talking about are not there.

    Here is a sample of the links that disappeared:

    'Tagged 1950s era, 1960s era, 1970s era, beautiful woman, bikini'

    If those are the correct ones, perhaps you are seeing a cached copy of the pages. Try clearing your browser cache and the cache from any caching plugin that you have.
