How to remove "podt date" and "author" from WordPress internal search results

I an designing a website which uses a custom theme, so I can use WordPress as a CMS. The problem is with the search results, which shows the date and author stamps after the title of the result. i want to get rid of this.
I have tried the method given in this post, but it did not work for me.
My website is at http://edusense.co.in. You can put the word hello in the search box and search (as there is only one post now). I have modified the twentyten theme.
