  • It will depend on how your theme is displaying that menu. Some (older) themes simply create the menu based on all the Pages within your site. Other themes allow you to update the menu using the WordPress menus option (Appearance > Menus).

    If your theme is displaying the menu based on the Pages, then you would need to remove/delete/unpublish that “People” page to remove it from the menu.

    If your theme is using the WordPress menu system, then you can remove the menu option by editing your menu within the Appearance > Menus option. Once on the menus page, simply expand the “People” menu option by clicking the small arrow and then click the “remove” link to remove the menu item. Click “Save Menu” to save your changes.

    Thanks for your feedback. I must not have explained my question in full. I am not wanting to delete or remove any pages but i do want to remove the title of the page once the page has opened.

    For example…. I want to remove the word ‘PEOPLE’ from just about the image on this page

    Does this make sense??

    I DO NOT want to delete the page altogether.

    Can you help?

    Ahhh sorry about that. Yep, I know what you mean.

    You’ll need to change the page template for that. It’s most likely using the page.php template or index.php, but this can vary depending on the theme.

    There’ll be a line something along the lines of the following…

    <h1><?php the_title() ?></h1>

    If you remove this line, it will remove the page title from the page.
