Hi friends. I have done extensive searching, and nothing I’ve tried (including How to align checkboxes and their labels and Padding between checkbox and label) has helped. I’m trying to use Magic Action Box to create an email signup form with Mailchimp, and the form is working well, but the styling is off.
The bit of HTML I am trying to fix (partially from Magic Action Box but then tweaked by me) is:
<div class=“mab-field”> <input type="checkbox" name="group" id="mce-group-8105-1" value="2" checked> <label for=“mce-group-8105-1”>The Think Tank Newsletter</label> </div> <br /> <div class=“mab-field”> <input type="checkbox" name="group" id="mce-group-8105-1" value="2" checked> <label for="mce-group-8105-1">Blog posts by email</label> </div>
No matter what CSS I try, I can’t get the checkbox and label to be on the same line and to be near each other.
It either comes out like this:
[ ] The Think Tank Newsletter
[ ] Blog posts by email
Or like this:
The Think Tank Newsletter
Blog posts by email
I don’t have any custom CSS added right now (though I’ve tried a whole bunch of stuff, most of which I didn’t understand), and I can’t seem to see what CSS Magic Action Box is using automatically. At least the custom CSS I add seems to override whatever their automatic settings are.
It may be obvious, but I’ve never done anything like this before so any help would be greatly appreciated!
