I did not knowingly request CloudFlare. It does not show on my Plugin List. Yet it appears on the admin bar when working on my site. When clicked, it is an obvious solicitation to sign up. Cloudflare may be fantastic but I do not appreciate this tactic. I want it to go away. I will choose if/when to invite it back!
    Thank you.

Okay, whew, fresh eyes today, I find CloudFlare was called in by “W3 Total Cache” plugin. At bottom of settings is suggestion to signup and get the API key. Now that I’ve read more and learned more, probably a good thing to do…. Kindof a surprise though, not-so-obvious to backtrack. It wasn’t CloudFlare’s action, apologies!
