    Hi,

I am new to WordPress and have just downloaded the theme “sixteen” (Version 1.1.3) for my website. Its a beautiful theme. However, I do not need Leave a reply / Comment box on any of my pages. I tried searching in forums but couldn’t find a specific solution for theme sixteen. Any guidance is highly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    manu b

  • This isn’t likely theme-specific. Under Settings > General, uncheck allow comments.

For already published or individual pages/posts, on the Pages or Posts screen hover over the title of the page/post – and then click on QuickEdit – you’ll see a checkbox for “Allow Comments” – uncheck it.

Thanks a’much, and yes, I realised its not theme specific.

Thanks WPyogi for helping out on my theme.

    Hi Folks,

Thanks again for your quick help.

Sorry to be a pest but I need help again. I want to remove “Archives”, “Meta,” and “Login” from my web pages as I have no use of them on my web pages.

I searched in forums and tried doing a few things myself but it didn’t work at all. Please help

    Thanks

    Hey Folks,

I think I got it… I just changed the template to “Full width, no sidebar” and it worked..

    Am learning 🙂

Where did you go to change the template to “full width, no sidebar?” Did you pay for the Sixteenplus in order to get that option?

Did you go into theme folder, style.css and change it there? If so, what and where did you put it; and what codes did you remove, if any? Thanks for input.
