How to remove Google fonts for Events Block?

    Hello,

    Almost 3 years ago I asked how I can remove Google Fonts from being loaded here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-remove-google-fonts-4/

    You even added the option which I set to “No” in the admin settings. However, with the Events Block Google fonts are being loaded again. Event Title Style and the other settings are using Abel as default. I need an option to select none (it would be great to select custom uploaded fonts via Kadence Custom Fonts, but I understand that this would be too much to ask).

    Hi @jdaniel,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for your patience. You’re absolutely right, the Events Block is still loading Google Fonts by default, even when the option is set to “No.” We understand how important it is for you to fully control font loading.

    We’re already working on a fix for this and will include it in an update later this week. Once the update is released, we’ll notify you so you can safely disable Google Fonts from the Events Block as well.

    Hi @jdaniel,

    I’m happy to let you know that we’ve released the update addressing the Google Fonts issue in the Events Block. With this version, the “No” option will now fully prevent Google Fonts from loading.

    Please go ahead and update the plugin at your convenience, and let us know if everything works as expected on your end.
