I actually have a question about the WordPress support forums themselves.

I asked a question in the support section of the theme I’m using. The theme creator asked me to give a link to my site and page so that he could check out the problem. I did so within the actual post body, thinking I could then edit the post and remove the link later. I now see that the ‘edit’ link expires within a few minutes of one posting and then you can’t edit your own post. I now have a link to my site live on the forums here and it’s visible even if one is not logged in. I’m also sure it’s indexable and will soon be indexed. This isn’t what I wanted for this particular site and page.

Is there some way to edit the post and have that link deleted?
