  • Are you referring to the index or blog page which shows a lists of posts? The pages are all controlled by the use of virtual templates. Go to Appearance > Montezuma Options > Sub Templates and read the information there on how Sub Templates are used.

The postformat.php virtual sub template is the one that controls how posts are formatted on the index/blog page. In there, you should see a section that outputs the post date (month, day, and year). Just remove that DIV (the post-date DIV) and the date will no longer appear on your posts.

If you also want to remove the date from the single post page (i.e., the page that only displays one post), then you’ll also want to edit the single.php in the Main Templates section.

If you have any other questions related to the Montezuma theme, you can post them on the Bytes for All Support Forum.
