Support » Fixing WordPress » How to remove Comment section -evolve theme-

  • Hello,

I need to remove the comment section that appears at the bottom of the top page because not all of my pages in my site are blogs.
Could you please let me know how I can remove the “leave comment? Log in….. (blank square)” at the bottom of one page and leave them only on the blog posts?

The theme I use is evolve.

    Thank you,
    Yuki

You can remove comments code from default page file for evolve theme I thinks it’s content.php file or you can hide comment section from page using css.

    Hello,
Thank you for your advice. I don’t seem to have content.php, I only have content.blog.php. Can I ask you how you use the CSS instead?

if you want to remove them from a particular page, simply uncheck the Allow comments. option under Discussion.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for the solutions, but I cannot find the “comment section” on the dashboard where you customise the page. I do not recognize the “comment section” in the php either,

could anyone please tell me an easier way??

    Thank you so much,
    Yuki

Hi, I tried again and I could delete all of the comments by unchecking the comment section under Discussion, as per wpjobz’s suggestion! Thank you !!
