Remove? What do you mean by that? And what's a "fake visitor"?

Some visitors come to my site which are not unique visitors.

Any decent stats analysis package will remove these before displaying any stats. A visit is usually counted as "unique" if it hasn't occurred within the previous 30 minutes.

  7. And if they're leaving comments, install Akismet.

Ipstenu is right. They come to my site and make backlinks and they take a large Bandwidth. My average visitors are 2000+ but I haven't any revenue from google Ads.
    What is Akismet?

An anti-comment-spam plugin. Try looking in the Plugins menu of your admin area.

Doesn't matter. Spam bots can access the relevant files directly.

    Use .htaccess rules.

Mickey, how can I get that?

Mickey, how can I get that?

It involves blocking the offending IP's with a 'Deny from' in your root .htaccess file. If you not familiar with adding those rules to your .htaccess file, you may want to try an anti-spam plugin like this first:

  19. I should point out that if they're using true pingbacks (i.e. linking to your site from theirs) the only way to stop 'em is to turn off pingbacks and delete them when they show up in spam, but they WILL continue to show up unless you delete a core file (which we don't generally advocate, since you have to re-delete it when you upgrade).
