How to remove border/adding around logo

I have uploaded an image to be my logo. I do not have a header, just a logo and beneath that, a menu. There seems to be a white border around my logo image and I want to remove it so that the image goes from one edge to the other and from the top of the page to the menu. How do I customize the css?
