How to remove BLOG from top of content (loop-meta)?

    So I am trying to remove the large BLOG that is found in section class loop meta. It is on all of my pages right now and I have no use for it. Can I just delete the loop-meta.php to remedy this or will something bad happen?

    To update, I made a copy of this file in my local directory and went ahead and deleted loop-meta. So far it has no ill-intended side effects but will update if that changes.
