There’s no way to remove it without editing the source of the plugin.

If you want to do this, be aware that after each upgrade you will have to re-edit the source code again.

Having said that, edit wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-statistics\includes\functions\functions.php, find the wp_statistics_searchengine_list function (should be on line 188 in version 5.2) and delete the line for Baidu.

would you be able to change plugin so it only shows the search engines when they show hits ?

this would be a perhaps easier way for all, many people in UK block baidu and yandex as they are a bit of a pain for crawling and digging.

    thanks 🙂

Would you accept being able to disable a search engine in the settings page? This would not show it in the lists and not collect data for it.

Simply not displaying it if it doesn’t have any hits gets complex and may not be the desired result for many users.

yes, that would be a good feature a check box next to each search engine

    thanks

Ok, 5.3 will probably be out tonight and will include the option.
