• Hello,

I could find a solution on this forum about how to remove menus. For example, I just installed my WordPress theme, and under the menu Gallery I have many I can choose, then in appearance—>Menu, I remove the galleries that I don’t want, so that I can have only one. I didn’t save the changes since I noticed that when I remove what I don’t want, there is no link to add them back again. I’m just worried that if I remove what I don’t want from the menu Gallery, if one day I want to change my Gallery with another that was there and I removed, I cannot have it back. Is it possible to re-add these to the menu again in case I remove? Thank you for your help.

    Renato

  • Dig around there further. I know there are ways to save old menus when you create others and there has to be a way to add further items to the menus.

This was something I learned so long ago that I can’t remember how it was done as it was almost self-explanatory for me but I came up from the old BBS world then the static web using HTML and running web boards. I then moved into another CMS and WordPress a year later.

That was a long time ago. And I don’t feel qualified to ‘teach’ that without a refresher of some sort. Anyway, here’s a good tutorial from the WordPress Codex which will probably wind up on the Help Hub in the near future. There should be a link to that new article there when it happens.

If you need further help let us know and maybe I’ll dig into that subject again this weekend.

JNashHawkins, thank you, I will give you an update as soon as I work on it.

Do you mean under pages most recent & view all there not going back?

Also in menu structure you can name them… ie preserve?

    I’m new too
