    Hi,
Can you tell me how to remove all WebP files and symlinks?
I disabled your plugin but all files still exist in file system!

    Thank you!

The settings and webp-files are not removed upon disabling the plugin, but upon deleting it. However, if you have changed the cache folder to “mingled”, the webp files will be preserved when the plugin is removed.

There is also a “Delete converted files” button on the settings screen

The .htaccess files are btw removed upon disabling and reinserted upon reactivation

    Hi,
    Thank you for your reply.
    I manually deleted files with
find . -name “*.webp” -type f -delete
    and .htaccess from wp-content too
    Is there another .htaccess ?

    Hi,

This plugin has generated approx. 10GB+ files on disk. Can I use “Delete converted files” option to delete all the files without causing any impact on the site?

    Thank you

@sudhanshu-mishra: That sounds extraordinary. Can you see in which folders these 10GB+ files are residing?

Deleting the webp files will cause an impact unless perhaps if your webps are cached on a CDN without expiry.
