The WP Simple version shows 1.0.7 but I am in the current version of WP which is 3.7.1

also, how do i remove “powered by wordpress” from the footer too
    Need help ASAP

  • Hello!

Could you please post a link to your site, so I could help you resolve this?

    Thank you!

    Greetings,

    I’ve got the same question.

I want to edit the header text:

    “A RESPONSIVE THEME FOR WORDPRESS
Customize layout, fonts, slideshows, banners, sidebars and more with just the click of a button!”

But can’t find it where to edit…

Looks like it can be edited manually in the file:

    themes/wp-simple/parts/example-banner_content.php

Visit the theme settings scroll down and deactivate the Example Content option.

    http://your-WordPress-URL-here/wp-admin/themes.php?page=nimbus-options

    That will disable that text.

the solution is much simpler. on the page that you want to remove the text, click on the edit page at the top. then scroll down below the content box. there under the banner content you will find the text. Delete and it is done.

@lenn thank you for finding it. I spend a half an hour looking through those files for it. UGH! You’re a life saver.
