    How do I remove the writing on top of the main page header picture “A responsive theme for wordpress” and the rest of the writing shown blocking the picture. I’ve searched everywhere. I want the company name to appear there.
    The WP Simple version shows 1.0.7 but I am in the current version of WP which is 3.7.1

    also, how do i remove “powered by wordpress” from the footer too
    Need help ASAP

    I’ve got the same question.

    I want to edit the header text:

    Customize layout, fonts, slideshows, banners, sidebars and more with just the click of a button!”

    But can’t find it where to edit…



    Looks like it can be edited manually in the file:

    Visit the theme settings scroll down and deactivate the Example Content option.


    That will disable that text.

    the solution is much simpler. on the page that you want to remove the text, click on the edit page at the top. then scroll down below the content box. there under the banner content you will find the text. Delete and it is done.
