Support » Plugin: WP Easy Columns » How to reduce margins and paddin

  • The plugin is great but I need to reduce the white space between columns.I am new to wordpress and know nothing about coding. When I view the source code by pressing F12 I can see that the Right Margin is 4%. I can reduce it there and see the change take place but how to edit the .css file. I am not able to find the location of the .css file to be edited. Please teach me step by step.

  • The quick and dirty way to fix that is to surround your content in a div tag and set negative margins or padding.

Or if you really need to change it globally then go to Plugins->Editor, on the top right select the plugin you wanna edit and click Select, and that is where you will find easy-columns.css
If you have access to the cpanel of the site then you can do it there too.

Also a much better way to troubleshoot these things is to Right-Click the part you wanna fix and select “Inspect Element” (instead of F12)
