[Resolved] How To Redirect Variations

  • Hi…so I’m getting a lot of 404’s that are pagination related because links open a single view of a record in a new screen.

The records all start with “/wpv-ajax-pagination/”

and then have a alpha/numerical string like this:

[ 442 character hexadecimal string redacted, it’s just not needed here ]

If I just insert the “/wpv-ajax-pagination/” portion of the address will
all variations of the string after the/ be redirected to the address I provide?

    Regards,
    Will

  • No, the plugin does not do global redirects.
For something like that, where you have a large number of redirects, I recommend using an htaccess redirect – you can then set a pattern and have all go to a specific URL.

To find out more, search Google for htaccess redirect of base folder url to a different url. that should get you started.

    Best of luck.
    Don

    Thanks Don
