[resolved] How to redirect tag/category slugs (5 posts)

I moved several posts from one subsite(site-1) to another subsite(site-2).
Then, redirected the post-slugs using the 301 redirect (in the edit view of each post - with WP SEO Yoast).

However, I don't know how to redirect respective tag/category urls.

    To clarify my question:
The post slugs are successfully redirected:
    http://www.example.com/site1/post-slug to http://www.example.com/site-2/post-slug

Now, I want to redirect some of the tags: http://www.example.com/site-1/tag/John/ to http://www.example.com/site-2/tag/John/

Because that tag/category has no relevance on site-1, while it is linked to several posts which are now moved and redirected to site-2.

    Am I making sense?

[I can provide here my Website url if it helps]

I know a plugin that overrides WordPress Permalinks if that helps.

Use a 301 on here for the categories you need moving, and it should override the permalinks.

I've used this on council websites before and found this out.

If you can provide urls I'll have a look.

One more question: Does it conflict with WP SEO by Yoast?
As I stated above, I made hundreds redirects using that plugin and it is still active on the sites.

I don't know as I've never used that plugin, but it should be fine as long as you don't have a redirect from the same link on both plugins.
