How to recreate the Scoop.it experience? (3 posts)

I love Scoop.its method of blogging/content curation. If you are on a site and click the Scoop.it bookmarklet, it pulls the relevant content (title, pics, video, summary) straight into a Scoop.it post, ready to be published in one more click.

However I'd really like to use my own blog which I have much more control over, rather than Scoop.its site, so I've tried many methods to replicate even a little of the ScoopIt experience. ScribeFire is nowhere close, and ScoopIts auto-posting to WP feature is nowhere close to what I'm looking for either.

I realize WordPress has the Press This bookmarklet, but this is also nowhere close. I'm looking for something that, whenever browsing the net, I can pull the relevant content into a new post with a single click, including photos.

I found MyCurator which ALMOST does what I'm looking for. It even has bookmarklets! However it's still not hitting the mark.
