first of all thanks for reading this post
my theme is not widget aware (ive tried to convert it to widget aware but it doesnt work well)
my sidebar at the moment is like this (in case it helps)
<li<?php if (is_home()) echo ” class=\”selected\””; ?>>“>Home
<?php wp_list_pages(‘title_li=’ ); ?>
<?php get_calendar() ?>
<?php wp_get_archives(‘type=monthly’); ?>
<?php if (function_exists(‘vote_poll’) && !in_pollarchive()): ?>
- <?php get_poll();?>
<?php display_polls_archive_link(); ?>
<?php endif; ?>
<?php get_links(‘-1’, ‘
- ‘, ‘
‘, ”, 0, ‘name’, 0, 0, -1, 0); ?>
This might help:
it didnt help much to be honest
im still at the same point 🙁
You want tags in your sidebar, right?
I gave you the Codex article that describes the template tag that is doing it and gives you description, usage, examples etc.
WHY didn’t help?
moshu: on usage gives me the code:
<?php wp_tag_cloud(”); ?>
is this the code i should put into my sidebar.php in order to work the tags?
im a bit confused 🙁
unfortunately it doesnt look good in my theme… i thought about adding tags to the sidebar in order to substitute the search because the search in my theme doesnt look good as well lol
have a look at http://www.ecozine.org/index.php?s=rampart
as you can see the post are a bit mixed with the sidebar.. i dont know why 🙁
if u have any idea how to fix this let me know as i prefer the search instead of tags
all the best
