Hello @redactionseomdri
Unfortunately, this is simply how the WordPress search system works like. We aren’t doing anything special with our search features and we are hooking directly into the built-in engine.
Without a plugin that replaces the backend engine, I’m afraid that this cannot be modified. 🙁
Hope this clears things up.
Thanks, Ed.
Thank you for the quick answer Ed.
So a plugin would be the solution be would replace the design of yours if I understand…
Ok Too bad !
Hello @redactionseomdri
No, a plugin is required for modifying the underlying search queries performed by WordPress. The design of the search feature of Blocksy has absolutely nothing to do with how search results come up.
WordPress is controlling what pops up and what does not whenever you search for something. That’s the part that needs modification. 🙂
Thanks.
can you recommend a plugin that works well with Blocksy other than the Woocommerce extension?
@editoor
A plugin for what, exactly? Could you be kind enough to get back to us with the full details on this one? It’s hard to guess what you’re trying to accomplish.

Oh, I see. Sorry, but we do not have anything to recommend in general. Blocksy has been built with flexibility in mind and should work great with any kind of plugin combination, as long as they have been developed according to the WordPress developer guidelines, so anything you might throw at it should work.
You should be able to find a lot of plugins on the official wordpress repository. For example, searchwp might be a good option — https://searchwp.com/how-to-change-wordpress-search-settings/

thank you!!! for your quick and kind response and i’m sorry i wasn’t more clear when i asked. 🙂
