You’ll need to add some HTML to a Text Widget. Something like:
<div id="newadvert">
<a class="newadvert" href="">
<img src="/wp-content/uploads/newadvert.jpg">
</a>
</div>
Remove the <a>
and </a>
if the advert doesn’t link to another url
Ah, so the href refers to the image’s location in the media libary?
Sorry to mislead you, I was being lazy. The href would normally point to an associated url, which is why I said don’t include if there is no link from the advert.
Oh…ok thanks. Oh, I see…the “newadverts.jpg” would refer to the filename of my image. Got it. Thank you!
So, what I get is a broken image icon, rather than the image: http://www.millerfoodguide.com
Any ideas?
Not seeing an image, let alone broken image
Ok I tried again with this:
<div id="adsample1">
<a class="adsample1" href="http://www.millerfoodguide.com/%E8%81%94%E7%B3%BB%E6%96%B9%E5%BC%8F-contact/">
<img src="/wp-content/uploads/adsample1.jpg">
</a>
</div>
That gives me a broken image link.
So where have you placed the image? Can you FTP to /wp-content/uploads?
The image was uploaded to the Media library.
I got it to work! Yay! How can I center it?
#adsample5 {
position: relative;
left: 10%; /* Adjust */
}
