Hello @poorjob
Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
Have you enabled the Archive pages in Performance>Page Cache>Purge Policy: Page Cache?
Can you please share the screenshot of the Purge Policy: Page Cache settings, and let me know what exactly do you see once the page is purged if the post is added. Does the new post appear in the homepage?
Thanks!

Hi, I haven’t I’m not sure what these are in WordPress:
- Daily archive pages
- Monthly archive pages
- Yearly archive pages
I have all archives disabled except the home page and custom post types archives.

So the home page is purged OK (Home page is showing the latest posts) very standard.
But page 2, 3, 4, etc of the Home is not purged.
the urls are:
domain.tld/page/2/
domain.tld/page/3/
domain.tld/page/4/
Hello @poorjob
Is there a chance you can share a website URL?
Also please share what needs to be on those pages and what you are seeing once the post is updated?
Thanks!

Hi, the home is controlled by WP.
Settings -> Reading -> Your homepage displays > Your latest posts
But with custom post types added to the query.
Domain:
cdromance.com

So basically if home shows 20 posts.
And /page/2/ shows the next older 20 posts.
And i add a new one.
Home page will show the new one just fine but “post 20” should now be first on the page 2. Instead it’s nowhere. Because /page/2/ wasn’t purged.
Hello @poorjob
When I checked the website, there are 21 posts on each page.
Is this suppose to look like that?
Thanks!

Yes 21 per page.
You wouldn’t be able to tell if a post is missing Just by looking at the site.
if a new post is published 1 post will be pushed to page 2. But since page 2 isn’t purged it appears nowhere. Makes sense?
