How to publish to FTP server?

    I signed up for a domain.wordpress.com account. But I want to publish my post over to my own domain. How do I do it? Blogger has such a feature but why can’t I find it on wordpress???

    I want to import to wordpress.org first before publishing to my domain just to make sure.

    afaik, wordpress.com doesn’t provide FTP access. perhaps, when it scales up and gets more funding.

    If you’re trying to move your page from WP to your own server, really your only option is to backup the database, and then restore it to a new location. I know there is at least one database backup plugin, but I’ve never used it. Anyone else?
