How to prevent WordPress from automatically adding Twenty-something themes?

    We develop custom websites built on WordPress. Every year, WordPress automatically uploads and installs its latest twenty-something theme. Then we have to manually delete the themes from each website under maintenance (right now we have sixty or so.)

    How can we stop WordPress from automatically installing its new themes?
