    Don’t use the plugin – just use the built in WordPress setting

    Admin > Settings > Reading > CHECK “Discourage search engines from indexing this site”

    Done.

    How do I prevent SEO Yoast Plugin from being applied to one of my post types?

    DJ at end of your new post, you will see Advanced SEO settings by using Yoast plugin & Select No Index option in it…….
