    Hi
Please can you advise how I can write a post that only publishes in a particular category. Currently my 'Online Trading' category is the default and I have another category called 'Beginner Investing'. When I write a post to beginner investing, it displays in both categories. How can I have it only display in beginner investing category.
    Many thanks

Uncheck the the "Online Trading" in the edit screen or when you write the post.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I did uncheck 'Online Trading' category, but it still posts to both categories. Any ideas?

Is the 'Beginner Invsting' perhaps a child category of 'Online Trading'? In that case, all posts belonging to the first category will automatically also belong to the second, for obvious reasons.

I have double checked and Beginner Investing is not a child category of Online trading. you are welcome to have a look at the categories: http://www.sharetradesecrets.com and let me know what you think. You will see a post - Forex - foreign currency trading, which is displaying in both 'Online Trading' and 'Forex Trading' category even though only the 'Forex Trading' category is selected.

    Many thanks
    Karen
