How to post an image in the sidebar?

    An example is here: http://alkivia.org/chameleon/
The advertisement/image for Theme Generator for WordPress by Artisteer halfway down the sidebar is a good example of the kind of image placement I’m interested in. (I know about the SidePost widget and the text widget, but they don’t provide the same functionality.)

I love this theme and would love to use it!
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

  • You could simply hardcode the image into your sidebar.

Posting an image to the sidebar is provided by widgets. Widgets are who post content on sidebar, so you need a widget that does what you need. WordPress sidebar just draws the widgets output.

In my the page you pointed to, One image comes from the sideposts widget, and the add is from a text widget.

    Thank you so much, Txanny.
I really appreciate your help, and the Chameleon theme.

    Sorry,
I place this question on the wrong place last time:

Could you please give me a hint as to how to move the sidebar to the left.

I love your Theme, and looking forward to keep using it !!!!
