    Hello,

I try to figure out how to position small google ads under the excerpts of my blog posts on the index page. You can see my current results here. But the ads are not positioned correctly.

    My site:

    My questions:

1.How can I position the ads exactly under each blog post excerpt?
    2. And why are only ads shown under the first five blog post excerpts?

I would like to see a small google ad under each post excerpt.

I really appreciate your help and advise.

    Thank you

    Karsten

Hi Karsten. Can you post the modified code you used on Pastebin and then post a link here? Thanks.

Karsten – can you explain what the ad code block is supposed to produce? I ran some tests and am getting two ads on some posts, what appears to be one visible ad and one invisible ad on others, and some don’t display any ads.

I would like to have the small ad block below every excerpt.

Why are ony 5 ad blocks visible now? I don’t know. Maybe Google is restricting the number of ad blocks on one page.

Somehow I need some CSS for positioning the ad blocks.

Try taking the code out of index.php and adding it at the end of content.php right after the excerpt. Wrap it in a conditional php statement to target the home page. Code on Pastebin. Then you can position it using css.

    Hello bd,

thank you very much for your very helpful advise.

I was now able to position the google under the blog excerpt as you can see here.

Google seems to deliver only 5 ads. As you can see there are no ads under the additional blog excerpts, but there is white space visible for the small google adds.
