  • You shouldn’t change the WooCommerce core plugin. Period.

You can override template files from your theme. Read our information on Template Structure for information on where all the files are located and how you can override.

Any other modifications should be done using the Plugins API, all done via your (child) themes functions.php file or via separate plugins.

    Hi Coen,

All I have done changed the product/shop page to a custom pricing table, and edited it so that items from the pricing table are added to my woo cart.
This reason for this post is; I also changed the empty cart button to return to my pricing table page, instead of shop, because I have not used the ‘shop’ in my application. But when I do an update this empty cart button url obviously reverts to ‘shop, and I have to change it every time.

Thank you for this Temp. structure link, I will have a read tomorrow.

    🙂
