How to override templates properly?
-
Hello Chris,
thank you for this great plugin – it works well and seems to be lightweight.
I try to get my mockup working.
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AikSNhBAk4tewQrh6_X1lNf32d6rI am advanced in CSS but low at php, but with a little trial and error I was able to modify the content.php (/plugins/strong-testimonials/templates/unstyled) so that I could reach my goal.
And now my issue is, that I can’t override the template constantly.
I already tried to override it via child-theme (child-theme/strong-testimonials/unstyled/content.php), and some other paths, but none worked for me.Could you build something to make it easy to modify the content.php, please?
If you like the style of my mockup, feel free to rebuild it and make it available for everyone through your plugin.I see you helped so many people here, so we can support each other. 🙂
Thanks in advance and have a great week ahead,
ChrisPS: I found another point which could make the plugin more valueable.

The excerpt tool only only counts words, But if somebody uses much free space in a review, it can’t be excerpted.
So it might be usefull to count lines as well.I didn’t want to make a new thread only for this point, hope it’s ok for you 🙂
