How to Output Blogroll list to a Static Page

I have a large amount of links in multiple link categories – so many that using a sidebar widget to display them isn’t practical. Instead, I would like to use a static page to display all my links and organize them by category. I’d also like to display the descriptions I’ve entered for each link.

I’ve searched the forum and the web with no luck. I’m not sure I’m using the correct search terms to cut through all the static and get to the issue I’m trying to work on.

Have to imagine I’m not the first person who has ever wanted to do this. Any help or a shove in the right direction would be appreciated!
