  • The main image for my blog is rather large so my site has been loading pretty slowly. I tried cutting it up into smaller pieces but that didn’t make a huge difference.

Hence, I’m wondering if there is a way to optimize the jpg images in my blog template?

Any tips would be most welcome. Thank you for your time!

  • For the main image, I think the only thing you can do is compress it a little more in some image editing software. In photoshop you’d just save it with a lower quality setting. You could try saving it as a .gif or .png too.

And cutting it up just makes it look weird to me, at least when it’s loading anyway 😉
