How to only show first part of post on home?

    The demo shows only the 1st part of each post on the home page: http://demo.fortisthemes.com/nouveau/ I’d like to do that on mine. How do I do that?

    And if you manually have to enter an excerpt, or insert the break-point into the post, could you please add a way for it to automatically just display the first portion of each post, without having to manually do those things? I’ve got a bunch of posts already and don’t want to have to go back through them all adding an excerpt or break-point.
